Combat & tactics

Blob
A tight mass of units and players pushing as one group.A blob unit is one that shines inside that pile, like Palace Guards.
Brace
Pikes setting their pikes into the ground, usually spell slot 1.
Burst
Rapid, high damage in a short window.
CC
Crowd control: any stun, slow, knockback.In Territory War talk, CC can also mean Conqueror's City, the main capital in some seasons.
CCi
Immunity to crowd control effects.
Dive
A fast, committed attack by a hero into a unit to kill or disrupt it.
Flank
Attacking from the sides or behind.
Kite
Keeping distance from enemies while dealing damage.
Meta
The most effective strategies and units right now.
Push
An aggressive advance towards an objective or enemy.

BiS
Best in Slot: the optimal gear, equipment or move.
Cav
Cavalry units.
Exo / Exotics
A unit with a very unique, impactful kit that can decide a push alone.Falconetti, Zykalian Militia, Siphonarioi, Shenji, Lionroar crew. Requires insane teamwork.
Flamers
Siphonarioi.
MS
Movement Speed.
Warband
The collection of units a player deploys in battle.

3-6-9 / Paradox
The Epic Combat Doctrine.Also written 3/6/9.
Artemis
The archer-shared doctrine: unlocks Double Strings, firing 2 arrows per shot for 12s, 40s cooldown.Shared across archer units, not unique to any one of them.
Hero DMG V
Hero Damage Doctrine V.
LDS
Leadership Doctrine.-16% leadership cost on the unit that runs it. Buying in-game Premium also gives access to a 10% leadership doctrine that applies to every unit.
ROF
Rate of Fire.A ROF doctrine is any doctrine that raises rate of fire, like Precision V (+9% ROF).

Modes, gear & world

Artillery: the craftable siege weapons (cannons, ballistas, mortars and the rest).
CBR / CBL
The two main tournaments.CB Rivals is the EU/NA league, CBL is the official tournament run every 4 to 6 months.
Light / Medium / Heavy armor
Rogue's / Carnifex's / Guardsman's armor.Any special armor is referenced by its own name.
TW
Territory War, the open-world game mode where houses and alliances fight for fiefs.
