Playstyle
As a Longsword player, your primary role is to support your team by providing buffs and healing, especially through Mercy of Heaven. Focus on landing it on your frontline at crucial moments to help them hold their position and withstand enemy attacks. Proper timing and positioning are key to maximizing the effect of your buffs.
Your secondary role is to disrupt the enemy. Against melee-heavy teams, use stuns and crowd control to break their formations, creating openings for your team. If the enemy relies on cavalry, your job is to intercept and disrupt their charges. Stun cavalry mid-charge to prevent them from wreaking havoc on your team. When facing Xuanjia heavy cavalry, engage early to force them to use their crowd control immunity, allowing your teammates to follow up with stuns and neutralize them.
In summary, balance between buffing your team, diving range and disrupting the enemy is essential for effective Longsword play.
